Alanna Gurr & The Greatest State

Guelph based Alanna Gurr and The Greatest State launched their sophomore album Late at Night to critical acclaim. Late at Night was recorded in Toronto, ON at Candle Studios, Welland, ON at Tapes and Plates (Weather Station, Grey Kingdom), mixed by Dan Weston (Daniel Romano, City and Colour), mastered by Andy Magoffin (Great Lake Swimmers, Constantines) and will mark Missed Connection Records second release (MCR-002). 

The album went on to be praised by CBC, Exclaim!, NOW Magazine, which eventually led the album to be #10 on the Earshot! College Folk Charts for the entire year!

Previous to this upcoming tour, Alanna has performed at festivals as NXNE, CMW, Home County and Hillside. These performances ultimately led her to share the stage with Basia Bulat, Bruce Peninsula, One Hundred Dollars and Daniel, Fred and Julie. Having reached nationally on Earshot's top 50 Chart with her debut record Oh, Horsefeathers. Alanna Gurr and the Greatest State can be heard on rotation at several CBC radio 2 programs across the country.
